Three different things live on this page: the beat licence (what all three prices on the beats page buy), exclusive rights (no set price, beat comes off sale), and the kit licence for drum kits. They're not the same — check you're reading the right one. Loops aren't sold, so they're covered at the bottom rather than here. Mixing/mastering is a paid service, not a beat licence — none of this page applies to it.
What you actually receive
Beats are priced by which files come back — the exact prices and file sets load with the catalogue on the beats page. With JavaScript off, ask in the form there and you'll get them in writing.
What the licence lets you do
Identical on all three prices. The files change; the rights don't. You can:
- Record vocals on it and release the finished track — streaming platforms, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, physical, wherever.
- Monetise it. Streams, YouTube ad revenue, sales — that's yours, no stream cap and no revenue share back to SNTI.
- Keep it up forever. The licence doesn't expire and doesn't need renewing.
- Perform the track live, including paid shows.
- Use it in your own promo — reels, TikToks, visuals for your track.
What the licence asks of you
- Credit it. "Prod. SNTI" in the track title or the description, wherever the platform lets you put it.
- Don't register the instrumental as yours. Don't put the beat through a PRO, Content ID or a distributor's rights system as your own composition. Register your song, not the beat.
- Don't resell or redistribute the beat itself — not as a beat, not in a pack, not on a drive, not re-licensed to someone else. This covers the stems too.
- Sync needs a separate clearance. Film, TV, adverts, games, or anything where a third party is paying for the music — ask first. Usually fine, usually cheap, but it needs saying yes to.
Stems
Stems are one of the prices on the beats page, not a separate negotiation. Same terms as the other two — they're there so you can re-mix and fit the arrangement to your vocal, not so they can be pulled apart into a sample pack.
Non-exclusive means non-exclusive
The beat stays on sale. Other artists can licence the same beat, and some will. That's the trade for the price — if you need the beat to be yours alone, buy it exclusively. Buying the stems doesn't make it exclusive; it gets you more files, not fewer other artists.
If someone later buys the beat exclusively, it comes off the store, but your licence still stands — your released track stays up, untouched. You never lose a release because someone else bought in after you.
Exclusive rights
There's no set price for exclusive rights, on any beat, ever. Every exclusive depends on the beat, what you're doing with it and what else is on the table — so it's priced individually, negotiated directly, not quoted off a rate card. What changes when a beat goes exclusive:
- The beat is pulled from the store — nobody new can licence it.
- You get the full stems package as part of it, whatever you'd paid before.
- Crediting still applies, and SNTI keeps a writer's share of the composition — standard for produced records, and what lets the beat be registered properly for both sides.
Collab beats
Some beats in the catalogue are made with another producer (credited "x" in the title). Those are licensed on the same terms, with the fee split evenly between everyone credited. A handful aren't listed for sale yet for exactly this reason — the split has to be confirmed with the collaborator first. Ask and you'll get a straight answer on whether a given one is clear.
Drum kits
Different thing, simpler terms. When a kit is out:
- Use the sounds in your own finished tracks, commercially, royalty-free. No credit required, though it's appreciated.
- No cap on how many tracks, no expiry.
- Don't redistribute the raw contents — not the samples, not repackaged into your own kit, not uploaded to a sample site.
Mixing & mastering
Not a beat licence — a paid service. When you send stems for mixing or mastering, none of the terms above apply: no stream cap either way, no exclusivity, nothing to credit or register beyond your own song. You're paying for the work, not licensing a beat, so this page doesn't touch it. Pricing and turnaround are on the mixing & mastering page.
Free loops
Loops aren't sold — download them from the loops page directly, no licence to buy. Same spirit as the kit terms above: use them in your own finished tracks, no credit required though Prod. SNTI is appreciated. Don't re-upload the raw loops or stems somewhere else, don't repackage them as your own free kit, don't sell them. Loops are full musical phrases, so a track built on an unaltered loop may need a quick credit conversation if it becomes a significant release — ask, it's not a trap.
Refunds
Digital files, so once they're sent they're sent. If something is genuinely wrong — wrong file, corrupt download, not what the page said — say so and it gets fixed or refunded. No form to fill in.
